WOW!    Here is a fabulous Mid Century Modern Retro very Large solid Brass sculpture in a very modern sophisticated Retro Contemporary stlyle perfect to accent your mid Century Modern motif in your current flat! This was made in Tiawan in the City of Surawongse and signed to that effect on the base of the sculpture nearest the mounting hole at the bottom.  Surawongse is a city in Tiawan which is world-renowned for it's production of very fine Brass and Bronze sculptures. The Edition is 39/1000. There are two asian logo's near the signature as well and I am assuming that is the artisan's mark. This beautiful sculpture measures approximately 22" tall, that is just the brass portion itself. Including the Black plexiglass stand, this  stands in total, 23.5" tall. Originally, it had a ovalesque wooden black lacquer stand. It was not in good condition when I first purchased the sculpture. I paid a local artisan in town to make me a custom black plexiglass stand, it is a piece of 1inch thick plexiglass with an added layer of 3/8 inch plexiglass on the top to give it more detail and elegance. It has rubber bumpers on the base so as to protect your furniture. This alone cost me 0.00, it was well worth it, it adds a balance and Elegance to the sculpture that wasn't there before. The sculptures width measures 12". The depth from front to back at its widest point measures 4-3/8". There are no issues with this sculpture that I can see other than one very slightly rough area on the head which was due to the casting process. It is very subtle and I mention it to be accurate and in no way detracts from The Amazing Beauty of the whole piece whatsoever. The sculpture will be unscrewed from its base when sent to the winning buyer or bidder. It will be very easy to simply put the sculpture on the base where the screw is, align the hole And re-screw the sculpture into the base. A general rule of thumb when you do  this, is that when you start to feel fairly decent resistance that means it's getting as tight as it should be and then go 1/4 turn more and no further. In my research as all good sellers do, I found this exact sculpture which sold on First Dibbs for 1,600.00 so I believe my presentation and starting price is a very fair one. Enjoy Michael
