    Description

Ben Seibel (1918-1985) studied architecture at Columbia University until his studies were interrupted by military service. Upon his discharge, Seibel resumed his education at the Pratt Institute, shifting his concentration to industrial design. He had a varied and prolific career, producing dinnerware, flatware, lamps, furniture, and wood and metal tabletop accessories. His bookends are highly collectible today.
This rare set of Seibel "5 of Diamonds" brass wedge-shaped bookends for Jenfredware are inset with walnut diamonds. In excellent vintage condition, there are no dents or cracks and the finish is in very nice condition with original felt bottoms and paper labels intact. They measure 5 3/4" H x 5 1/2” x 3 1/8”. Label reads Maison Gourmet, a product of Jenfredware.
